I miss Gourmet terribly too - despite some saying it was doomed and not au courant - it was a long-time favorite of mine.
I was walking my dogs a few weeks ago in Capitol Hill and on the sidewalk next to someone's gate was a whole box of old Gourmets! It was like a gift from the magazine gods. I lugged that box all the way home.
Abby ~ you lucky thing! It's a winter's worth of culinary inspiration...
