mr & mrs

A sneak peek of one brillant autumn day in Alexandria, and two very happy people. Captured by the amazing Kate Headley, who graciously let us have a few Polaroid snaps to put in our pockets (yes! my dress had pockets!).

When people tell you it all goes by in the blink of an eye, they aren't kidding. So you breathe deeply, steal every kiss, hug each dear one as closely as you can, drink every drop of sparkling rosé, and say I Love You again and again. And when you are done savoring the day, you hop in the car and eat and drink your way through Charleston, South Carolina!

Thank you to everyone for such sweet well wishes, both here and in the mail. More to follow. . .

  7. DED ~ I know, it is almost too much. No doubt there will be lots more to come, but in the mean time I'll charm you with Charleston!

pve ~ thank you! Rainy days and pockets. Sounds divine!

Courtney ~ Kate is such a dream to work with. So gracious with everything. Most of the wedding was shot using film, so we must be old fashioned, and (gasp) wait. As for Charleston, I just downloaded 600+ images. So, there is some editing to be done. I'll have some teasers tomorrow.

mom ~ never were there two happier people! We are blessed to have such lovely families!

AD ~ HOME. Safe and sound. Can't wait to catch up!

Meg ~ thank you! Hopefully I can introduce you soon. . .

  9. So, you two went south of Broad in search of an adventure of much happiness. One of America's most beautiful cities for two beautifully happy people: perfect.
