trouvée: two for the road

Uninscribed, undated, Edwardian perfection! It took me a while to figure out the perspective here ~ two lovers on a hay ride. *wink, wink* {click image to view larger}

Tomorrow, the gentleman and I set off down a new road. Where it is headed we don't exactly know, but we'll travel it together.

Type to you in a week or two. . .

Please accept my heartfelt best wishes as you and the gentleman embark on your new life travels together.
And also my thanks for all the links to information on Mount Pleasant. Only last night I read a short article on the restoration of Mount Pleasant in a back issue of Early American Life which made me wish they had given some information to research further.
Whoo-ee, will be enjoying my browsing this weekend!! Best wishes.
Warmly

Best wishes to both of you. Hope the weather is as gorgeous there as it is here. But no matter; I'm sure it's a perfect day!

Safe and happy travels to you, today, as you leave for your honeymoon and on all your days together. I have never seen a more beautiful bride, or a sight so moving as you and your gentleman in front of the magnolia garland. Dearest love!

It's so sweet! I love how they're seated 20 feet apart too - they know they're being watched!
I really enjoyed your post about Mount Pleasant. I adore Georgian architecture, and it is truly unsurpassed.
