No inscription or date, but if you look carefully you'll see the turkey front and center. A Thanksgiving meal of a day gone by. {click image to view larger}
Eat, drink and be merry with a few new twists on some old holiday classics:
* sweet potatoes + marshmallow biscuits
* a squash crumble
* and a little something for the morning after

Have a great & a restful Thanksgiving day.
What a marvelous photograph! Here's my question, is the woman in the background the family's cook, or is she the "lady of the House"? Given when the photo was taken, what the woman is wearing, and the ages (and affluence of) the family depicted, I suspect the wife and mother was the one behind the camera recordin the event...
Happy Thanksgiving!
I hope you two had a wonderful Thanksgiving!!
You can almost see the impatience on the children's faces "hurry up and take the picture so we can eat!". Just like at my family gatherings LOL.
