chasing shadows

The sun was so strong in Charleston that sometimes I dispaired of getting any good exposures. So, I finally just gave in to the shadows.

More vines for Courtney. And more greys for Linda.

Love it! The light didn't impede you at all. These are so inspired.

Great shadow shots. Glad you enjoyed Charleston. Did you make it to Drayton Hall, one of my favorite houses? If you haven't been to Beaufort, SC yet - it's great too.
Wishing you both much happiness --

I think that is can be t he brightest place in the kingdom. it always seems hot too. I have to say many shadows-real and haunting inhabit Charles town. Such beautiful images of that idea

I got in trouble in school for always wanting to write "grey," rather than the American spelling. But it looks so right with an "e."
