I can see why it's your favorite!
only two? Who took the picture then? Or do you think he had it set up and took it himself and that's why he's looking fuzzy?
You must have quite a collection of these evocative 'found' photographs by now. Time for an exhibition? It would be fascinating to see these unconnected images in some kind of sequence, bringing out the similarities between them (and revelaing your 'eye'!).
Really great. I envy you your job; it must be wonderful to be in a position of perpetual discovery!
Courtney ~ it's a good one!!!
Ms. Wis ~ I did wonder about that. But, more fun to think of them without a chaperone.
Emile ~ oh, hundreds! It would be fun to do an exhibition. About 10 years ago there was a slew of exhibitions of collections of snapshots/anonymous photographs. And then it stopped. Too bad, because I do love to see such things through the "eye" of the collector.
Donna ~ thank you so much. Always seeking . . .
I am enjoying your blog. Perhaps you could install the "Follow" or "email new postings" options to make it easier for your fans. Thanks.
--Road to Parnassus
lovers -tee hee.
Hope you had a fantastic weekend with the gentleman -what was dinner?
Parnassus ~ I am glad. I will work on the latter. I tried once to add it and just succeeded in messing everything up.
Stefan ~ a lovely weekend visit with Barbara. Dinner was excellent too: shrimp and grits at Firefly. Yum.
Oh my, shrimp & grits are one of my favorites. Let's try to do them at home next time. They tend to blur the line between collector & aquisitor in a most civil and democratic way.
Barbara ~ yes please, let's do! I have a feeling that all will be delighted!!!!
