the highlands, part 1




Honestly, there are no words. Have you ever been so moved by a place that it makes you want to cry? The Highlands of Scotland are like that.

There is a great deal of charm about the Highlands, and for me the lack of people is one of the most attractive features. I do think however it is better to visit in Spring or Summer, otherwise the "dreachy" weather can rather put you off after a week or so, as we found to our cost in October and November last year.
