I found this tiny little cabinet card several months ago in Fredericksburg (click to view larger). I loved the casual nature of it ~ slightly unusual for the time period. I can imagine it tucked into a libri amicorum, perhaps threaded with a ribbon.Here are a couple exhibitions not to be missed ~ inspiration for the week:
* Depth of Field: Modern Photography at the Metropolitan, through March 2008 (particularly love the Uta Barth).
* Let the World In: Prints by Robert Rauschenberg, at the National Gallery of Art, through March 2008.
