Last night as I was walking up to Capitol Hill to meet a friend for dinner I noticed the shadows of a cherry blossom tree against one of those typically drab Federal buildings. It looked like a Japanese watercolor. I just stood there for a few minutes and watched the shadows shift as the sun set. One of those beautifully ethereal moments.
A couple things I am currently enjoying:
*
Bing Wright (love the "fly disasters")
*
this album (on repeat)
* and the
Public Library of Public Library Deaccession (fascinating!)
Cheers...and happy tuesday!

Absolutely beautiful! I have often tried to capture cherry blossoms with brush and ink on rice paper. cgb

It almost looks like it's shot in black & white. Wonderful, as always!
