brown and grey

Just stopping by with a few quiet bits from a busy weekend. Gathering the pieces for a week of simple meals: fresh greens, homemade parsley tarragon pasta, asparagus, and bread.

Did you catch this story? A classic rises from the ashes. Make sure you don't miss the slide show ~ amazing!

aaaargh, you clever woman, you scooped me! I just caught up with it LITERALLY twenty minutes ago and was already plotting my intro to the link, when I open JCB. Clearly I'm going to have to start going to the magazine on Saturday night. Isn't it gorgeous? I saw the original years ago, and naturally haven't been the same since.

It is an astonishing story. Clients were renting the house the night it went up. Their story of that night was pretty dramatic.

DED ~ Oh, but we would love to hear your story...! You have a knack for bringing these places alive.

I love the wave form and I bet it spectacular seen from a boat. The story catches my heart. The style does not. I was ready to give up on it, until I came to the kitchen. While new, I love its purity. The story is the food created here. The tools take the backseat. I could be happy in this room. And, I suspect, you too, JCB!
