warm potatoes and cold corn

Mom is here and we're eating good food. The evenings are still warm and so we'll take our dinners to the roof and watch the sun set gently over the city. The pressure is off: a mother-of-the-bride outfit has been found! Time for wine.

Some late-summer culinary inspiration:

* Anna Magazine: the recipes (especially the salads)
* warm potato salad
* chilled corn soup

Happy wednesday.

And happy Rosh Hashanah.

Read this from Style Saloniste and, of course, thought of you: "And now Jean-Charles has introduced his own label, JCB by Jean-Charles Boisset, a limited edition for a new era, using Burgundian family traditions. A hint: he adores pinot noir!" Perhaps for a wedding toast?

Yum - warm potatoes, rocket, and capers. On my list of recipes to try.

Glad to hear plans continue to move forward. Can't wait to see the pictures from what promises to be such a wonderful, beautiful day.

XO

(Anyone trying the warm potato salad recipe should try it first with half the recommended oil and vinegar.)
