cold

The last of the blizzard images. I promise.

A chest cold is getting me down, so I think it will be a quiet weekend. But, for those of you feeling more sprightly, the Washington Winter Antiques show promises to be quite a diversion (be sure to check out the sunday morning appraisals session)!

Have a good one. . . and be well.

Yes,I have the same chest cold -i think everyone does. I feel fine but the phlegm (eww, is that too graphic?)

Stefan ~ don't even talk to me about phlegm. I should buy stock in Kleenex. Feel better. . .

Keep warm & feel better soon. Loving the pictures of the blizzard. Ohio winter is not as picturesque!

Trapped in a courtroom all day Tuesday with 111 other prospective jurors, 55.5 of whom were hacking and wheezing, I knew that my chances of escaping the cold were slim, and bingo, here it is, so it's reached Maine too. Feel better.

Don't stop with the blizzard images - they are so delightful!

I sat on a plane for nine hours with people next to around me sniffling, coughing and sneezing and I am cold free fifteen days later - the Celt is not. There are strategic placements of cold medication all over the place - a little like stages of the cross.

The hell with chicken soup by itself. The real healer is scarichi sauce, anything with ginger and garlic and enough heat to boil out the bad boys.

Hope a quiet weekend is proving conducive to your health. A loved all the snow shots, so no complaints from this corner.

We have lots of snow here today. Hope you're feeling much better!

greer ~ so glad you like the blizzard shots! I can imagine Ohio is pretty bleak in January. Sending warm thoughts your way.

DED ~ jury duty and germs. That is just a recipe for disaster. Here's wishing you a speedy recovery.

Blue ~ thank you. I added a bunch more to flickr if you wish to revel in snow. Best wishes to you and the wheezing Celt. I do hope he's feeling better.

hbd ~ to heck with chicken soup indeed. I sent the gentleman to bed yesterday morning with a glass of Glenlivet. It made him happy as a baby and knocked him for a good three hours.

Linda ~ thank you. Hope all is well in your corner of the world.

Laura ~ I think we get your snow tomorrow!!! Stay warm.
