Lovely, even the fall blanket. Thinking of you...
We are eating honeycrisps like there is no tomorrow! Happy munching.
indeed it is a special time of year.how lovely your little sunny picnic looks.pve
With the kitchen down to the studs and the floor down to the subfloor and the fridge down to the basement, apples and pears are a big part of daily life around here. It's a lovely miracle they go well with cheeses, nuts and bread and, of course, the remodelers' go to cure for all things—wine!October, my birth month, is one of my very favorite times of the year. Enjoy!
Any chance you've tried local albemarle pippins? They're fantastic (tho' your picnic already looks superb, elegant). Description, bit of history at http://www.vintagevirginiaapples.com/apples/pippin.htm.
PS: TJ grew and loved pippins!
