raindrops

I almost hate to flaunt these raindrops ~ as so many of you are buried in snow right now! Last night I lay in bed listening to the rain, and dreading the ice we had been told would come. But, luckily there was only rain. Lots and lots of cold rain.

To distract you from the world outside:

* this amazing discovery
* a bit of old Boston
* the Cult of Beauty
* and some Dairy Queens

Goodnight. Stay warm.

You always find the beauty. Loving the warm pinkish hue in the background.

C ~ I walk by this building every day on the way to the subway. So many times I have tried to photograph that wonderful pink, to no avail. This is the first time I "got" it (on my funny iPhone app no less!).

I am so glad you were spared the ice! The snow has all but stopped in Maine where we are warm (warm dachshund curled up next to me!) and thinking of you and the gentleman listening to raindrops.

There is nothing as pleasant as being warm in bed and listening to the rain. In Wisconsin, we all consider ourselves to be "dairy queens."
