Here in Washington the first full day of spring was ushered in by thunderstorms and a few pink blossoms.Some bits for the history buffs:
* the Printing Office of Edes & Gill opens next month in Boston
* the map that put Manhattan on the grid
* and the conservation of Jefferson's Bible

Oh... beautiful wedding photos.
I noticed Philadelphia was not mentioned in the Manhattan grid article, as if it wasn't done elsewhere before. Oh well you get used to it!

Loved seeing you over at Kate's! And thanks for sharing more branches. Just picked up some cherry blossoms at Whole Foods -- sadly they're rather bare at the moment. Ironically all the trees in my neighborhood are in full bloom.
Magnolias starting to bloom in Kansas....snowed last night. But your wedding pictures will be forever love in bloom whatever the season.
