trouvée: a-tisket, a-tasket . . .

. . . a green and yellow basket! Little baskets and big bows, some chocolate eggs and jelly beans ~ Happy Easter! {click image to view larger}

Some spring things:

* bluebells (and more bluebells)
* pasta with peas and mint
* a simple soup
* dogwood
* and one very old Easter rabbit!

We planted our roof garden last night. Flats of basil, rosemary and lavender ~ tomatoes with jaunty names like "Big Boy" and "Stripey" ~ and pots of sweet banana peppers. Amazingly, the oregano, thyme and mint survived the winter and already are going strong. I think it will be no time before mojitos are on the menu!

Have a good weekend friends.

Love, love, love the photo. Happy Easter to the two of you.

Is it just me, or does it look more like the little lovelies might find rattlesnakes in that timber pile rather than eggs?

ps I think we may have discovered that zero moment when butt bows seemed the right idea for bridesmaid's dresses (allowing for the bowed wonder on the right to grow a bit taller and gravity to be in full force).

Hopefully the tomoatos work out better this year!

Barbara ~ a very happy Easter indeed.

hbd ~ the photo is hilarious on so many levels! The bow to basket ration is just too much.

Stefan ~ if it doesn't get too hot too soon, I think we'll be okay (that and the cleaning crew needs to quit swiping them).

Love this photo but it does look like a potentially dangerous egg search!
