An old farm, an unidenitfied and undated photograph, found in Maine. I am not exactly sure why it caught my eye, but I do love the softness of it. It has an ethereal quality.
So, to end the week on a beautiful note, a few links:
* Laura Letinsky
* É by Masao Yamamoto
* an amazing discovery
* and this great interview with Uta Barth
I hope you all have a wonderful weekend ~ I'll be drinking a little champagne and making a few dozen pink cupcakes. Hmmm...and we'll see what other trouble I can get up to. Cheers!

I would like to think that big old barn is still standing. So many of them have crumbled and fallen for lack of repair. The photo is so nostalgic. cgb
I've lurked for a while here but don't think have left a comment before, although I love your images and links I just never have anything to say, I just enjoy them quietly. However you have piqued my interest more acutely in a way I know how to respond to this time and I want to know "what's with the champagne and pink cupcakes?" - sounds like a lovely way to spend a saturday to me...
Annie ~ thanks so much for your sweet comment. The cupcakes were for a friend's birthday...and the champagne was to celebrate some good news that I'll be sure to share here soon...
